Research and development












Forest and Landscape College works with research and development projects within three main areas:

  1. Interpretation, research, education, learning and health in nature
  2. Urban green spaces focusing on plants, soil and water management. We focus on sustainable management of parks and urban nature and how we can deal with the climate change and climate adaption in urban areas.
  3. Forest regeneration, restoration, adaptation and mitigation, biomass, silviculture and integrated management of forests and ungulates.

Forest and Landscape College is a part of the Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management at Copenhagen University. Together we are one of the largest research and development fields in forest, urban landscape and outdoor recreation in Denmark.
